Pope Francis prays the Angelus together with the pilgrims in St. Peter's Square for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. In the afternoon, he will visit Piazza di Spagna to venerate the image of the Virgin.
The feast day celebrates the dogma of the Immaculate Conception that was decreed on December 8, 1854.
