This weekend the Vatican hosts the Jubilee of Adolescents. About 60,000 have already registered, although as usual, more are scheduled to attend, many of whom are already in Rome.
'We come from Lisbon, Portugal.'
'We have come to be with the Pope, to be with him.'
'I will go to confession and cross through the Holy Door.â?
Throughout the day on Saturday, the sacrament of confession will be available in St. Peter's Square. Hundreds of priests will be under the colonnade to hear the pilgrims confessions and prepare them to cross through the Holy Door.
In addition, on
Sunday Pope Francis will celebrate Mass with thousands of teenage boys and girls.
None of them will go home empty-handed. In addition to the plenary indulgence, they will also receive this film in 15 languages on the life of Jesus. It is this DVD produced by 'The Jesus Film Project.'

'We believe everyone should have an opportunity to see Jesus speaking to them in their own language, in the same language their mother spoke to them when they were sitting on their mother's lap, so they can sense God's love for them personally.â?

'To have the Gospel, the Gospel text, not only written or
read, but seen on a screen, allows people to understand Jesus in a very different way. This DVD displays the Gospel of Luke.â?
Ricardo Grzona chairs the Ramón Pané Foundation, an association of lay people who look for creative ways to propose the faith with modern language. Their agreement with 'The Jesus Film Project' was finalized so thousands of young people would receive this gift this weekend.

'We want to stress that the Gospel must be transformed into a language that people understand.'

'Young people love stories, they learn better from stories than from anything else. So by making the story parts of the New Testament available, we feel young people engage with God in a fresh way.â?
The Jubilee of Adolescents is one of the most anticipated events held by the Vatican. Besides going through the Holy Door, participants have been invited to a huge concert in Rome's Olympic Stadium on Saturday night.
