In his homily at Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis spoke on the Church as a house with its doors wide open. He said that Christ wants to love and cure the hearts of Christians and not take into account their sins. The Pope also said that because of this, Christians shouldn't stay waiting at the entrance of the Church.

POPE FRANCIS
'We are citizens, fellow citizens of this Church. If we do not enter into this temple to be part of this building so that the Holy Spirit may live in us, we are not Church. We are on the threshold and look inside: 'How lovelyâ?¦ yes this is beautifulâ?¦' Those Christians who do not go beyond the Churchâ??s reception: they are there, at the doorâ?¦ 'Yes, I am Catholic, but not too Catholicâ?¦'â?

The Pope added that the Church finds its strength in Jesus' prayers for Christians.
