As Pope Francis made his way along the streets of Seoul in the popemobile, he stopped to greet the families of victims who died earlier this year, in a deadly ferry accident off the cost of South Korea. ;
For several days, families of the victims had camped out on the site that leads to the beatification site, in protest, as they call for their government to carry out an open and just investigation on the accident. ;
The Pope also spoke with a man whose daughter died in the accident. He has been on a hunger strike for over a month, calling for answers. ;
In fact, some of the victims parents met with Pope Francis a day before. A father who lost his son in the accident, asked the Pope to Baptize him and the Pope agreed. ;
The ferry sunk earlier this year, on April 16th, ;killing almost 300 people, most of them students. ;
