Pope Francis met with New Zealand's governor Jerry Mateparae at the Vatican's Apostolic Palace.

 'Good morning.'

During their brief meeting they talked about the role the Catholic Church plays in the country. They also exchanged views on international matters like peace missions and different programs.

As a gift, the governor gave the Pope a coral stone which is also very symbolic.
