The young Italian band “Il Volo” sang the Hail Mary prayer at the end of the WYD vigil in St. John Paul II Field.
They dedicated their prayer to the Our Lady of Fatima statue which was brought from Portugal; and placed in front of Pope Francis for prayer.
The group had already sung in Panama two years ago in a special concert dedicated to raising funds for WYD.
