Pope Francis' plane, the 'Pastor 1,' landed at the Rabat-Sale airport shortly before two in the afternoon, Rome time.
In spite of the unpleasant weather, King Mohammed VI met Pope Francis at the foot of the track, on a special carpet layed out for the occasion.
When the pope arrived, he was also received by two children who gave him flowers.
