Directly from Bolivia, the “Palmarito and Urubichá” choir and orchestra performed a “Concert for the Synod” of the Amazon at the Vatican.

“This is the culture of the Church and the missions in America, in interpretation of the musicians of the jungle.”

“For 300 years, not missionaries nor missionary sisters, the indigenous have saved this music by copying it from generation to generation.”

Through their traditions, this group unites cultures by playing native and baroque music.

The Bolivian “Palmarito and Urubichá” choir and orchestra demonstrated that art can break moulds and unite the best of two worlds, favoring understanding and dialogue.
