The alpine choir “Lagorai” filled St. Peter's Square with music during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony where the manger in the plaza was presented.

The choir is made of 35 people who sang this song dedicated to Baby Jesus. It's a melody that forms part of the group's repertoire of popular songs from the mountain areas.

The name of the choir was inspired by the Lagorai mountain range, which surrounds the homes of those singing.
