Following the Angelus on Sunday, Pope Francis didn't fail to go to the window from where he normally addresses the usual crowd of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square.

With only a deserted city below, the pope imparted a silent blessing, making the sign of the cross as a sign of closeness to people around the world impacted by the current pandemic.
