Before Mass, the pope asked for prayer for those who take advantage of the pandemic to earn dishonest money.

Let us pray today for the people who in this time of thee pandemic, do business with the needy: they take advantage of the needs of others and sell to them: gangsters, the usurers and many others. May the Lord touch their hearts and convert them.
In Italy, police have arrested several people for shooting up the prices of masks or disinfectant products.
Furthermore, governments fear that the lack of economic liquidity will force people to ask for loans on completely unfair terms, which compromises the future stability of families.
