Pope Francis offered Mass at Casa Santa Marta for politicians called to make important decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We pray today for men and women with a vocation to politics. Politics is a high form of charity. We pray for political parties in different countries, so that in this time of the pandemic, they can search together for the good of the country, and not for the good of their own party.
Pope Francis has warned in the past of the danger of putting selfish interests before the common good. For political parties facing elections or other political changes in the near future, this temptation may be even stronger.
