Before his daily Mass, Pope Francis prayed for students and teachers forced to adapt to a changing academic environment because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We pray today for teachers who have to work so hard to provide lessons via the internet and other digital means. We also pray for students who have to take exams in a way they are not used to.
Many schools around the world have closed their doors for the remainder of the academic year, thus encouraging the normalization of virtual learning.
