Pope Francis began his 35th international trip on Dec. 2. Italian authorities awaited him at Rome's Fiumicino Airport and wished him a good trip.
The papal plane took off at 11:05 a.m., local time, for the three-hour flight to the Larnaca Airport in Cyprus.
