At the end of the meeting with the Catholic community of Sacred Heart Parish, Pope Francis blessed a statue of St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first indigenous woman from North America to be canonized.
Afterwards, rather than immediately getting into his car, the Pope greeted people outside the parish in his wheelchair.
