The breaking photo of today – the Pope has once again surprised the faithful and tourists. Wearing a bizarre outfit, with the support of his oxygen cannulas and a blanket covering him, Francis left the Casa Santa Marta for a few minutes and entered the basilica, to the surprise of anyone who happened to be inside. Many of them approached him to greet him and receive his blessing. The Vatican later stated that the pontiff went to pray at the tombs of two popes: Saint Pius X and Benedict XV.
This is the second time that Pope Francis has surprised the faithful this week. Last Sunday mass, he was seen for the first time since being released from hospital, and said a few words of greeting to the crowd.

His surprise appearance caused much joy and reaction from the pilgrims at St. Peter's and since then, many have wondered if another “surprise” would happen again.
