This is St. Peter's Basilica as we all know it…… and this is St. Peter's Basilica but made with artificial intelligence from the video game Minecraft.
Through a digital replica, students will explore the basilica, interact with historical figures, and become restorers of its historical elements.

When I think about the very essence of the work that we have done together to really bring Saint Peter's Basilica to the world, I just think it's a special project
the even more important step has been to bring the Basilica to the world through this digital twin online, on the web, on laptops and on phones around the world. So when you think about that, today's milestone with this Minecraft for education version of the basilica represents a natural and important extension, another big step forward.
The goal of this new project developed by Minecraft together with Fabrica de San Pedro, is to combine history with Artificial Intelligence. Educating students in another way, through an interactive experience.
