The British monarchs plan to visit the Vatican in early April, in what will be their first trip as monarchs to the smallest country in the world.

According to the statement from Buckingham Palace, King Charles III and Camilla will join Pope Francis to celebrate the Jubilee. However, everything will depend on the evolution of Francisco's health.

Charles III has been to the Vatican on five occasions, all of them coinciding with his time as Prince of Wales.

The last time was in 2019.

It is such a pleasure to see you again.

It was during the canonization of the English saint, John Henry Newman.

Pope Francis was also present in some way at Charles' coronation. The Pope gave him a relic of the True Cross, which was embedded in the Welsh Cross that led the procession.
