In view of the artists' jubilee, the Vatican Apostolic Library has inaugurated an exhibition showing how faith must mature, grow and change in the journey of life.

The library is not the place of the theologians or the philosophers, even if they all come here, but the place of the human. And I really believe the message of hope for this Jubilee is precisely this: the human needs to be renewed, innovated, made to grow,and put in the perspective of, let's say, a look that goes beyond, that goes beyond the immediate and reality.
The inauguration was attended by artists such as Italian singer Lorenzo Jovanotti and Italian fashion designer Maria Grazia Chiuri, known for her work as creative director of the fashion house Dior.
In the presentation of the exhibition, Maria Grazia tells that the part she worked on has a peculiar story behind it.

Both in America and in Britain, the first globes and the first maps were made by women with embroidery, and many of these women had never traveled, so they practically created their own world. They had an idea of the world that was their own and that very often was close to the time, so they drew gardens or their houses, all pretty close to what they could visualize.
The exhibition, entitled “En Route”, will be open throughout the Jubilee year. Aimed at all audiences, it shows the journey that several artists have made to explore the depths of the human heart and faith.
