It is tradition for the Pope to baptize the children of Vatican employees on the same Sunday as the Baptism of Jesus.
The setting is usually none other than the Sistine Chapel, the place where the future of the Church is decided in each conclave. On this occasion, the Pope usually recalls the importance of this sacrament for Catholics.

They are the protagonists in this ceremony. Let them speak, let them walk, let them shout… they are in charge because it is their feast. They will receive the most beautiful gift, the gift of faith, the gift of the Lord.
This is one of the most endearing traditions that can be seen within the walls of Vatican City.
