The month of November began with Pope Francis' visit to the Garden of the Angels, a place where deceased children rest, including those who were never born.

Pope Francis celebrated a Mass there on All Souls' Day.

Two weeks later, the World Day of the Poor was celebrated in a very special way that has become a tradition. Pope Francis had lunch with several needy people in the Paul VI Hall.

POPE FRANCIS
May the Lord bless you all, all of us, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Good luck and courage. Go ahead.

In addition, the Vatican announced a new preacher. Raniero Cantalamessa is retiring and giving way to another Italian friar named Roberto Pasolini.

His work is known to be especially admired by young people. His preaching style is inspired by a famous Roman preacher.

Pope Francis also simplified the funeral rites for future popes, something that will affect and change his own funeral.

From now on, the Pope’s death will be confirmed in a chapel, and the body will be placed directly in a single coffin, which will also be open in St. Peter's Basilica so that it can be venerated by the faithful.

This change will be in effect until a future pope reforms this document.

What significantly marked this month of November was the announcement of the canonization of Carlo Acutis. He died in 2006 due to leukemia.

POPE FRANCIS
I want to say that next year on the Day of Children… of Adolescents, I will canonize Blessed Carlo Acutis.

This young man stood out for his dedication to the poor, as well as for using the Internet to evangelize by creating several websites dedicated to Eucharistic miracles.
