The International Exhibition ‘100 Nativity Scenes in the Vatican’ returns to Rome. This is already the seventh edition. This event brings together more than 125 nativity scenes created by artists from all over the world.
From France, Croatia, Taiwan, Paraguay as well as Japan. These are just some of the places from which the nativity scenes have arrived, created with unusual materials that do not leave the tourists passing by indifferent.
Among them is one that represents the Jubilee 2025. This crib, created by the artists of the ‘Città dei Presepi’ Association of Florence, is mounted on a huge boat, with the symbols of the Jubilee in the background.
All of them are located on the left side of St. Peter's Square where these 125 nativity scenes can be seen. Among the more unusual pieces are a crib inside a fire extinguisher and another completely carved in marble of a hand holding the Holy Family. This exhibition will be on display until 6 January 2025.
