In the last week, the Pope has called for taking the final document of the synod on synodality very seriously.
He asked the experts of the International Theological Commission to develop what he called the “theology of synodality”.

I would say that it is time to take a bold step: to develop a theology of synodality, a theological reflection that helps, encourages, and accompanies the synodal process for a new, more creative and bold missionary stage, inspired by the kerygma and involving all the components of the Church.
A few days earlier, the Pope had written a note to the entire Church asking them to try to implement the Synod's instructions as far as possible.
