Hundreds of people without resources followed the Pope's Angelus from the Paul VI Hall, where the luncheon offered every year by the Vatican on the World Day of the Poor took place.
The Pope appeared with the pontifical almoner, Polish Cardinal Konrad Krajewski. There was joy in the hall and the pontiff, as he always does, sat among the people.

The Pope ended the day on Sunday with this lunch in which the Red Cross was in charge of providing entertainment thanks to its orchestra.
