Pope Francis maintains an agenda full of official meetings… and other private ones. For example, on Tuesday, after visiting the Jesuit university, the Pope visited Emma Bonino.

This is an Italian politician, who was one of the great promoters of abortion in her country, and who published this photo in which she defines the pontiff's visit as an "enormous surprise charged with emotion."

Bonino was admitted to the hospital for breathing problems. In 2015 she announced that she was fighting cancer. Despite their different opinions regarding abortion, the Pope said he has admiration for one of the most relevant women in the Italian political arena.

Otherwise, the 87-year-old pontiff maintains an intense agenda. In four days he held 15 official and public meetings. In most of them he touched on spiritual aspects.

He reminded the seminarians of the four closenesses they should cultivate: closeness with God, with their bishop, with other priests and with the faithful.

And to this group of religious women working in education he said this.

POPE FRANCIS
Let them be teachers in the art of prayer so that from school, among all the knowledge they can transmit to the children, the ability to talk to God, to listen to him, to feel him present in all the moments of life and to accept his inspirations with docility should stand out.

The Pope once again highlighted the significance of closeness in faith as well as the power of prayer.
