They do not have psychiatrists and I offered to the Servants of Mary for their free clinic, at least once a week, to dedicate one day a week to give mental health consultations on depression issues….
The Dominican declares that his duty to the people was what pushed him to return to the profession. Despite this, he feels satisfaction for his 3 years serving as Ambassador to the Holy See.

Our opinion could be interesting, a contribution that could enrich Vatican diplomacy. So we did it and they are doing it. All the ambassadors feel very identified to help, to contribute to the Holy See in what is happening in the world. For me it was a revelation and a satisfaction to have contributed to the Holy See.
He has worked as ambassador for 3 years. In May 2024 he was present at the visit of the president of his country to the Pope. On November 8, he will officially leave his post as ambassador and return to the Dominican Republic to work as a psychiatrist in the health field.
