Pope Francis is accustomed to departing from the scheduled events on his trips. In Brussels, he visited a home for very sick and underprivileged elderly people.
The Pope was welcomed with music, smiles, applause and even tears.
He greeted everyone present, all speaking French, until the language became familiar to him.
Thank you, Holy Father, for what you are and for what you do.
-Where are you from?
From Seville.
-Pure castanet…
Flamenco!
The home is called 'House of San José'. It is run by the Little Sisters of the Poor. Their happiness at seeing Francis was priceless.
