The Pope lands in Port Moresby, capital of Papua New Guinea. He is greeted by the Deputy Prime Minister at the foot of the plane and by two children dressed in traditional costumes who offer him flowers.
The Pope and the Deputy Prime Minister arrive on the covered apron and take their seats to attend the Welcome Ceremony.
At the end of the presentation of delegations, the Deputy Prime Minister bids farewell to the Pope, who departs for his residence.
