After a nearly 13-hour flight to the Indonesian capital, the Pope was scheduled to rest. But instead, he immediately traveled to the country's nunciature to meet with a group of refugees.
There were 40 men, women and children who welcomed the Pope. They were accompanied by Dominican nuns, the Jesuit Refugee Service and the Community of Sant'Egidio.
Pope Francis heard their stories before going to rest ahead of his lengthy itinerary of official meetings in Asia and Oceania.
