Listed as Forbes' third richest man in the world, Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, met with Pope Francis at Casa Santa Marta.
This meeting was not officially announced by the Vatican because it was part of the Pope's private agenda. But Sanchez posted about the encounter on her social media.
She reports the three spoke about climate action and the need for a sense of humor in everyday life.
Bezos is not the first billionaire A-lister to travel to the Vatican. Two years ago, Pope Francis also welcomed Elon Musk. And in 2016, Facebook's founder, Mark Zuckerberg also held a meeting wtih the Pope.
