June is shaping up to be a very busy month for Pope Francis. While he is walking less and uses the wheelchair more, he remains active. In the last two weeks, he has had about 80 meetings, between public and semi-public events and bilateral meetings.

Moreover, he has maintained his quick wit and spontaneaity. But he continues to show some signs of difficulty breathing.

And the venues for all these meetings have been diverse: from a garage on the outskirts of Rome visiting a group of parishioners to the G7 summit venue in Puglia holding a host of bilateral meetings.

The Pope had a more than 12 hour day the day he attended the G7. Before traveling to southern Italy for the meetings, he had three other audiences at the Vatican.

But this busy schedule began the month prior, when in May, he presided over World Children's Day and made a pastoral visit in Italy, in addition to his usual events.
