One of the largest Eucharistic pilgrimages in history has kicked off in four different corners of the United States—from Minnesota, Texas, Connecticut and California. Over the next two months, pilgrims will walk thousands of miles, bringing the Eucharist to countless pockets of America.

In Northern Minnesota, over 2,000 people gathered for an outdoor Mass that sent off the Eucharistic pilgrimage, whose route included going through the woods of a state park.

At one of the southernmost points of the continental United States, hundreds of people walked through the heat to bring the Eucharist through Brownsville, Texas.

In New Haven, Connecticut, after processing through the city, gray skies did not stop the pilgrimage from continuing with a boat ride across the Long Island Sound.

And in San Francisco, the Eucharist was processed across one of the most famous American symbols: the Golden Gate Bridge.

23 young adults will make the full, two-month journey of this pilgrimage. Each route will end in July in Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress.
