The Holy Week starts with Palm Sunday Mass in St. Peter's Square with pilgrims traveling to Rome for the end of the Lenten season.
The pope is preceded by a procession of palms in the Square, then he blesses the palms and olive branches.
Afterwards, he will begin the Mass at 10 a.m., local Rome time.
