An attack in Burkina Faso claimed the lives of at least 15 people. They were killed in the region of Oudalan, near the border with Mali. It is not clear who was responsible for the attack. But everything points to Islamic fundamentalists.
The diocese's press release asks for prayers for the victims.
In this painful circumstance, we invite you to pray for those who died in faith, for the healing of the wounded, and for the consolidation of grieving hearts.
Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger are some of the African countries where Islamic fundamentalism is gaining control. Thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes: both Christians and non-Christians.
