Pope Francis offered a challenge to members of the Construction Board of the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. He asked that the climate of prayer should not be lost in the churches. However, the Vatican did not publish this phrase, but only parts of his speech.

I invite you, therefore, to welcome pilgrims who come to the Basilica, to lead them with a prayerful attitude to contemplate the iconographic project of the Servant of God Antonio Gaudí in its entirety, so that, like the spires and bell towers, their gazes may rise and their voices may proclaim with the angels: “Holy, our immortal God.”
Pope Francis appeared to have some difficulty breathing, yet his schedule has remained full of meetings, both public and private.
