Throughout the Jubilee of 2025, millions of pilgrims will travel to Rome. The Dicastery for Evangelization and an Italian company, Stegip4, created a kit to help people be prepared for their pilgrimage to the Eternal City.

We wanted the kit to express the Jubilee's motto as it is an invitation to build a climate of hope and confidence in the future. We thought of this and also of putting a backpack on your shoulders to carry what is true.
Inside a backpack we planned to include all the items necessary for people's pilgrimages.
The backpack includes pins to exchange with other pilgrims, water bottle, rosary bracelet, bandana and safari-style hat. And many of these items were made with Pope Francis' call for environmentally friendly materials in mind.

The fabric of the backpack comes from recycled plastic bottles and other products with a long life like aluminum or all natural fabrics like cotton. It really is a message of caring for the environment. And maybe that's also why the Dicastery gave us the opportunity to do this job because we have interpreted this message, this thought that guides the Church at this time in perhaps the most careful and precise way.
Starting in February, pilgrims will be able to buy the kit and other commemorative items for the Jubilee through the Jubilee app and also in a store near St. Peter's Square.
