Once again in his Angelus greeting, Pope Francis appealed for peace in Gaza.
POPE FRANCIS
Stop the guns: they will never bring peace, and the conflict will not spread! Enough! Enough, brothers, enough!
The Pope expressed his solidarity with everyone regardless of who they are. He did not point the finger at anyone but rather asked people to help those who are suffering.
POPE FRANCIS
Let the hostages, among whom are many elderly people and children, be freed. Every human being, whether Christian, Jew, Muslim, whatever people or religion, every human being is sacred, is precious in God's eyes and has the right to live in peace.
But Pope Francis has not forgotten to pray for other countries facing violence. He also remembered the people in Sudan, where the situation has drastically worsened.
