Pope Francis met once again with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, almost one year after he made the historic journey to the Middle Eastern country.
The two were joyfully reunited at the Vatican.

The two exchanged gifts and flipped through an album of photos from the Pope's trip. Francis was the first pope to ever travel to Bahrain. The trip was a part of his initiatives to improve interreligious dialogue around the world.
The King's meeting with Pope Francis marks one step further in the bilateral relations, dialogue and cooperation between Bahrain and the Vatican.
