Under the sun in St. Peter's Square, the traditional Spanish group known as the Brotherhood of the Aurora recalled their meeting with Pope Francis.

Today, we participated in the audience with His Holiness Pope Francis where we experienced an emotional and special moment. We had the opportunity to speak with the Holy Father and we conveyed our gratitude for his welcome. He also congratulated us on the songs that we often sing.
The group traveled to sing to the Pope the same songs they dedicate to Our Lady of Aurora in their town of Ronda, Spain. They were moved with emotion during the meeting.

I felt a great emotion, tears came to my eyes because it, it is something I cannot explain. You carry this inside your body, I have a tremendous emotion. It cannot be remedied.
The emotion I felt when I sung for the Pope was the greatest emotion of my life.
During the meeting, Pope Francis blessed a pendant of the papal coat of arms, which the members of the choir will give to Our Lady of Aurora.
