Ten years after his election and despite suffering from mobility problems, Pope Francis continues to make small trips around the Vatican and in Rome.
His most recent excursion was more pastoral in nature. The Pope left the Vatican to visit the parish of Santa Maria della Salute in Primavalle.
35 priests from around the area gathered to meet with him. The Pope spent almost two hours discussing the pastoral challenges of the region. Shortly after 6:00 p.m., he returned to Casa Santa Marta.
