Pope Francis arrives in Marseille, France for his 44th international trip. He is welcomed by children in traditional attire and the Prime Minister, Élisabeth Borne, at the foot of the plane.
After being welcomed with songs, the Pope and Prime Minister hold a brief meeting in Hélène Boucher Hall.
This is not Francis' first time in France as pope. In 2014, he traveled to Strasbourg to discuss immigration with the European Parliament and Council of Europe. It was one of the shortest papal trips abroad, lasting only 4 hours.
