Juan Delgado is a Venezuelan artist and producer, known for making Catholic music. When he started in the business, he realized that for him, music and faith were inseparable.

When I found my faith, my life changed, and it has always been related to music. I have worked in music professionally for many years, in studios and publishing companies. I felt that my calling was to respond to God with music. I realized that God had prepared me through the years to take a step and serve the world of Catholic music or to serve God and the mission of the Church through music.
In 2018, he released an album entitled, `Everything Happens.' On it are songs inspired by the Bible stories, psalms and one of St. Teresa of Avila's poems. Delgado's hard work, together with great musical production, led him to win the Latin Grammy for best Christian album in 2019.

The Grammy award brought me a lot of exposure and my songs seemed to become more well-known overnight. So many people started listening to my music. So many people started writing to me from everywhere to tell me that the music was helping them in their lives: priests, people, everyone.
Winning the Grammy inspired Delgado to co-found a project that he had been thinking about for a long time called Via Cantus. It is a record label for Catholic singers. For Delgado, the artists are not just people he signs, but members of his family.

One of the things we have tried to do is to work with artists who are already, in some way, established in their ministry, to help them grow and to make them part of the family. But we also work with new, emerging artists. Performers who are new, young talents in the Church who, perhaps, have never made a recording in their life, but who have the talent, the desire, the call, and are responding.
Currently, Via Cantus consists of 8 to 10 people in addition to all the artists. The label is a project made specificially to empower Latin Christian artists who seek to share God's love through music.
