The Vatican continues to strive for peace at the diplomatic level. Cardinal Zuppi has undertaken missions to try to build bridges between Russia and Ukraine. The Vatican Secretary of State has also traveled to Angola and South Sudan specifically to continue fostering peace initiatives.
