After finishing his final event for World Youth Day, Pope Francis made his way to the Figo Maduro Air Base.
Upon arrival, he was greeted by a line of cardinals and bishops as well as the President of Portugal, who escorted him to the plane. As he has done on his most recent trips, the Pope made his way to the backside of the plane to use the elevator to board in his wheelchair.
