Song and dance filled the park for the official welcome ceremony of World Youth Day with Pope Francis.
One skit involved young people reading their letters to Pope Franics. They were filled with questions, hopes and fears about how to face the challenges of everyday life as Christians. They ended the letters thanking Pope Francis for his work and words of encouragement.
