At the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Belém, commonly known as the Hieronymites Monastery, Pope Francis addresses the bishops from the 17 Portuguese dioceses.
The Partiarch of Lisbon, Manuel Clemente, the President of the Bishops' Conference, José Ornelas Carvalho, and the parish priest greet the Pope before they all pray Vespers.
The Hieronymites Monastery is classified as a National Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
