Pope Francis meets with political and religious authorities, the diplomatic corps and members of civil society at the Belém Cultural Center.
During the meeting, President Rebelo de Sousa gives a welcoming speech. Francis then delivers his first speech on Portuguese soil. At the end of the meeting, he moves to the Apostolic Nunciature.
