Pope Francis met with members of the Latin American Business Council.
In his address, he emphasized the danger of an excessive drive for profit, saying it distracts from the common good and can “degrade or enslave” workers.

The Latin American Business Council was established in 1990 and brings together private businessmen from 19 different countries.
