Marieta and Iñigo wanted to debut their marriage in Rome for a reason.

The whole wedding trip to Rome was based on having an audience with the Pope. We thought, what better way to continue with our project, to have a marriage with God at the center, what better way than in Rome with the Pope's blessing to new spouses?
Centering relationships around faith is what inspired them to create the Instagram profile '3gether.' After telling their story, many couples were encouraged to do the same. Now, over 23,000 people follow the '3gether' profile, which has become a space for couples to share the testimonies of their relationship.

Above all, I believe that through '3gether', what we offer is the embrace of many to many. The realization that your relationship is not the only one that is lived like this, that you are not alone.
As in all relationships, Marieta and Iñigo also endured hardships. They say the turning point was a roadtrip where they decided to take the next step.
MARIETA
That's it, we can't take it anymore. We need a change. A leap, right? I love being with you, but I want a life with you and I don't want to go home without you.
And when we're both tense or nervous about other things, it's harder to bring it into our daily lives, I think it's always been there. But I was definitely 100 percent there that day.
They unintentionally have become an example for many couples. That is why, when they were at the altar in St. Peter's Square, they asked the Pope a question so they could pass it on to their followers. But Pope Francis, as usual, opted for a different message.

We asked him a simple question, 'What advice would you give to a young married couple?' Although there has been no clear answer, he simply closed his eyes, kind of nodded and gave us the blessing. As many messages God gives, it is not easy to know what they mean.
At times we might separate from eachother because maybe it is a moment to breathe a little, and say 'I am with her to get to heaven' and my path of sanctity is also to accept that she can get nervous about something or that she puts up with my nonsense.
Although thousands of people know them through their social media profiles, this couple is now starting the most important project of their lives.
