With the Jubilee year of 2025 only two years away, the Vatican Press Office held a conference to give updates on the preparations for the international event.
The Dicastery for Evangelization announced a website and app that will help pilgrims prepare for the Jubilee in a more modern way.

In essence, the app will allow pilgrims quicker access to information about the Jubilee, simplify the registration process and speed up the organization of pilgrimages within the city, as well as enable direct communication between pilgrims and the Dicastery and vice versa.
Archbishop Fisichella also premiered the winning hymn for the Jubilee following a contest last fall.
The Archbishop shared that one of the focuses of the Jubilee will be to bring artwork from around the world to Rome for pilgrims to experience and contemplate beauty, even in unconventional place

It is not our intention to confine them to the inside of museums. As it is the Jubilee of Hope, we would like them to also be present in some places where it is necessary to give hope. So, some of these works could be brought to hospitals and prisons.
As 2025 approaches, the Dicastery and the City of Rome are working together to accommodate and welcome the estimated 2-3 million pilgrims who will come for the Jubilee in two years.
